Profile

Well-designed products perform reliably, are practical to manufacture, and are easy to understand.

I design and develop physical products from the initial idea through mechanical design, production preparation, and clear technical communication. The work combines concept development, robust engineering, supplier alignment, and product presentation, allowing projects to move forward with fewer handovers and less friction.

The goal is simple: products that perform well in real-world use, scale efficiently in production, and clearly communicate their function and quality.

Approach

Every project starts with understanding the problem and the real constraints. From there, concepts and product architecture are developed and refined into a solid mechanical design and detailed engineering. As the design matures, the focus shifts toward manufacturability, production preparation, and supplier alignment.

Clear documentation and accurate visuals ensure throughout the process that the product is easy to build, understand, and communicate. This end-to-end approach minimizes redesign, miscommunication, and unnecessary complexity.

What I deliver

  • Concept development and product architecture
  • Mechanical design and detailed 3D CAD
  • Design for Manufacturing with cost awareness
  • Production-oriented drawings, bills of materials, and DXF files
  • Prototyping, testing, and validation
  • Supplier alignment and production support
  • Product communication through renders, animations, and exploded views

Professional experience

Founder, Studio Renderlijk

2025 to present

Studio Renderlijk focuses on translating complex mechanical products into clear and realistic visuals based on real CAD data. These visuals support product launches, sales, trade shows, and internal alignment. Because they are rooted in engineering, they remain technically accurate while being understandable for non-technical audiences.

Founder, Vormelijk Engineering

2025 to present

Vormelijk Engineering supports companies developing physical products and aiming to move from idea to production. The role includes defining product architecture, developing complete mechanical designs, preparing production data, and supporting suppliers during manufacturing.

Projects range from early concept phases to production-ready products, with a strong focus on manufacturability, scalability, and long-term reliability.

Lead Mechanical Engineer, EV Charging Hardware

Ecotap | 2024 to present

Responsible for the mechanical development of AC and DC charging products, from concept to production. Activities include defining layouts, designing enclosures and assemblies, preparing products for manufacturing and certification, and coordinating suppliers, testing, and validation.

SolidWorks and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform are used to manage complex product structures and changes.

Mechanical Design Engineer, High Precision Systems

ASML (via engineering partners such as PDM and ACE) | 2021 to 2024

Development of ultra-high-precision mechanical assemblies for cleanroom and vacuum environments. The work focused on solving complex tolerance, alignment, and integration challenges under extreme accuracy requirements.

Projects were executed within a highly structured development environment using Siemens NX and Teamcenter, in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Earlier experience

2015 to 2021

Across tooling, medical, industrial, and high-tech environments, complete products, assemblies, and precision components were developed. This period included mold and tooling projects (via IGS GeboJagema), enclosures, mechanisms, and industrial systems.

Projects were guided from concept to delivery, with responsibility for design quality, manufacturability, and documentation. In tooling environments, Creo and Windchill were used alongside other CAD systems depending on the project.

These years provided a sharp understanding of where products fail, where costs arise, and where delays occur in practice.

Education

Bachelor Industrial Design with a mechanical engineering focus

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering | Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje

The program covered mechanics, materials science, manufacturing processes, ergonomics, product development, CAD, and 3D modeling and visualization. This forms a strong foundation for both technical depth and product-oriented thinking.

Working style

Ownership of the complete product, not just individual parts. Communication is clear and direct, both with engineers and suppliers and with non-technical stakeholders. Decisions are made with production, cost, and long-term use in mind.

The focus is on products that are actually built and used, not just designed.

Open to collaboration

This work is best suited to companies developing new products, scaling existing products, or looking for a technical designer who can think end-to-end.

If the goal is to move faster from idea to a manufacturable and clearly presented product, a conversation makes sense.
