In the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, reliability is essential. Processes involving media preparation for production or research require equipment that is not only technically advanced, but also durable, hygienic, and easy to maintain. The Premium Media Preparator was developed precisely with these requirements in mind.

This project originated from a collaboration between Lab Associates and Naus Systems, with a strong focus on quality, sanitary design, and long service life. My role involved translating the technical CAD data into a convincing visual presentation, clearly communicating the machine’s operation, construction, and high-end finish to clients and partners.

The visual approach went beyond simple product representation. By placing the machine within a carefully constructed laboratory environment, the technical precision became tangible. The images not only provide insight into the construction, but also reinforce the sense of reliability and control that the Premium Media Preparator conveys.

The machine is designed for long-term use with minimal maintenance. All critical components are manufactured from stainless steel 316L and meet strict hygienic requirements. Thanks to the integrated steam generator, a magnetic stirring mechanism without mechanical seals, and stainless steel pneumatic valves, the system is both reliable and easy to clean.

Approach

  • Complete 3D reconstruction of the installation based on CAD data
  • Model cleanup and geometric refinement for presentation purposes
  • Creation of a realistic laboratory environment with a carefully defined material scheme
  • Lighting and rendering in 3ds Max and Corona Renderer
  • Delivery of overview images, close-ups, and renders with transparent backgrounds

Technical highlights

  • Very low maintenance requirements and high durability
  • Integrated steam generator
  • Magnetic stirring mechanism (no mechanical seal)
  • Stainless steel pneumatic valves instead of solenoid valves
  • All critical components in fully sanitary stainless steel 316L
  • Constant overpressure to prevent internal contamination
  • Use of certified, high-quality components only
  • Highly polished stainless steel 316L vessel interior for easy cleaning
  • Built in accordance with European Machinery Directives
  • Available with required certifications such as CE and PED

Result

An accurate and credible visual representation of a technically complex system, suitable for brochures, presentations, and marketing applications. The visuals combine technical precision with visual clarity, making both functionality and quality immediately understandable.
