For the Ecotap DuoWide Nuvia, Studio Renderlijk created a series of photorealistic renders that present the product clearly, credibly, and at true scale. The focus was on a visual translation that respects the underlying engineering, while remaining strong enough for marketing, presentations, and technical documentation.
From CAD to character
The starting point was the existing 3D CAD model. This model was optimized for visualization, with careful attention to clean geometry, consistent edge definition, and realistic surface behavior. Where necessary, details were refined and surfaces cleaned up to ensure the product remains convincing under natural lighting — including in close-up views.
The goal was not to embellish the design, but to present it as clearly and realistically as possible: exactly as intended in real-world use.
Context and scale
As the DuoWide Nuvia is designed for public spaces, a realistic urban environment was selected to make both usage and scale immediately understandable. Placing the product in context creates a recognizable application scenario, with clear emphasis on the dual charging points and the intuitive user interface.
Natural daylight, realistic materials, and a calm composition result in renders that are both technically readable and visually engaging.
Technical focus
- Model optimization and detail refinement for visualization
- Material and color definition aligned with the final product
- 3D environment setup in 3ds Max
- Lighting based on natural daylight conditions
- Rendering using D5 Render
Result
A strong visual translation of a technical product: robust, clear, and convincing within a realistic context. The images are suitable for marketing materials, internal alignment, and product documentation — unmistakably Ecotap and ready for everyday use in public environments.
